Spinosaurus Report

Ever since it's inception, Marvels Evolved (MMM) has striven to create the most breathtaking and realistic experiences possible in Zoo Tycoon 2, pushing boundaries time and time again and enlisting the assistance of countless paleo experts in order to deliver only the finest work. The team is constantly working and every animal we've created has been remade more than once in order to account for new discoveries and to ensure it's quality.

When Spinosaurus aegypticus was first described, no limbs were available to evaluate the dinosaur, and the recent discovery of a more complete skeleton has completely changed the way we look at this unique creature. With the new knowledge, we realize we will have to completely remake Spinosaurus from the ground up in order to provide a fresh, accurate, and up-to-date approach to it in Zoo Tycoon 2 - but it would be a shame to see our previous work go completely to waste.

Therefore, we are releasing the 'classic' rendition of Spinosaurus, one of the longest-awaited Cretaceous Calamity animals, as a bonus download - with promise of a scientifically accurate one down the road as part of the main Cretaceous Calamity release schedule. While it is unfortunate it cannot reflect current science just yet, the custom animations and unique skin concept, give a taste of what to expect from future Marvels Evolved releases.
